Dear friends, today we talk about a novel I read recently and I found it very nice, or The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. industrie rat I wanted to see the film first and then talk about both, but given that I've seen a thousand other things in this period with the exception of the film, meanwhile, will I review the book.
Plot: The romantic industrie rat and enigmatic Jay Gatsby organizes lavish parties in the hope of bringing the woman he loved in his youth, Daisy, who married a rich man and rude. She became industrie rat his lover, industrie rat but a car accident a tragic twist to give them love. A ruthless and sympathetic description of the lavish and frivolous world of the twenties in the pages of the writer unforgettable symbol of the "lost generation".
Talk about a novel like The Great Gatsby is not easy, but I will try to give my humble opinion on this I think is fantastic. The story is told in the third person by Nick Carraway, a normal man, almost anonymous, you trasferiste nell'aristocratico in a house in West Egg village on the coast of Long Island. Next to his house is a large villa, owned by Jay Gatsby, a young man with a mysterious past, rich and extremely exhibitionist. Gatsby, in fact, organizes large parties at his house in which they participate (as evidenced by the beginning of the fourth chapter), a very high number of people looking for fun. After observing for days the parties Gatsby, Nick decides to meet his neighbor, and although his character is completely opposite to that of Gatsby, the two begin dating and building a sort of friendship. Nick also is approached through Gatsby Jordan Baker, golfer and friend of Nick's industrie rat cousin, Daisy Fay.
Listening to the stories of Gatsby, Nick is aware of his past, how he has changed the name and identity is constructed and the wealth industrie rat he has, but, in particular, finds out about his relationship with Daisy. Still young, Daisy and Gatsby dated for a short time. The boy had to leave and, in the meantime, she has married another: Tom Buchanan. Gatsby, however, has never forgotten the girl in hope and the desire to spend her days with her, even though they are now grown and changed a lot.
The relationship between Gatsby and Daisy is very important in the book, but it is much more than the idea that Gatsby has built girl. Gatsby the dreams and wishes with all his heart, remember the good times that they lived and believed to relive them again. You used to say: of course you repeat the past. What we see is not the real Daisy, but Gatsby is a perfect image that was in his mind. More it goes on reading, in fact, the reader realizes that Daisy does not reflect industrie rat at all the description that Gatsby gives her, and the sweet girl you replace an extremely selfish.
With a new relationship between Gatsby and Daisy begins to precipitate the situation and see a series of events that herald a tragic ending. Fitzgerald chooses to present the story from an outside point of view, that of Nick, and thanks to that the story is clear and objective. Nick compares his world with that of Gatsby, sometimes the criticism, but it gives us a clear picture of the mind of the protagonist and all that his life has become. There are filters that probably Gatsby and Daisy have entered if they were the storytellers. industrie rat
After reading the novel, I found myself thinking for a few days. Fitzgerald was able to enclose a complex and distorted in a limited number of pages, and did so in an exceptional manner. The reality of Gatsby is made up of parties, glitz and fun but behind this mask lies a man alone; a man who lives in the past and the illusion of it. Gatsby is a real character, complex and very human. Embodies hope, passion and loneliness. The world as he sees it is an illusion, centered on the figure of Daisy; a figure of Daisy imaginary that no longer exists and that he continues to love. Although industrie rat I have hated Daisy, selfish and annoying as it is, I find the idea that Gatsby gives her is beautiful. Probably because, as seen through her eyes, she is perfect.
The reasons are many reading this novel, I will try some of Dirven. First of all, The Great Gatsby has a magnetic prose, able to feel strong emotions and making industrie rat situations, in the eyes of the readers, very real. In the end, it would not be a great literary classic if it were not so. The characters are real, they have good and bad, love and hate. Each of them has a hidden side that needs to be discovered over time. The events are never trivial, everything has a
