  Hailing types of sea shells from Hawaii and now located in San Diego, CA the guys of HI Roots are bringing a new style to the mainland. Consisting of seven members HI Roots blends a unique mix of hip hop, rock, reggae types of sea shells and more in a dynamic live set featuring blistering lyrics from front-man/Emcee Francisco Cizflow Oldmen-Kam and smooth vocal harmonies of Andrei Galvez types of sea shells and Bucky Springmeier. Though their roots are in Hawaii, it wasn’t until they all found themselves in San Diego that the band was born.
In 2014 HI Roots embarked on their first national tour joining Hawaii legends, Natty Vibes on the 2014 Summer Fun Tour.” Spanning 25 states and over 10,000 miles HI Roots has begun to spread their unique blend of hip h op and reggae to a national level. Supporting major touring acts like Steel Pulse, The Dirty Heads, J-Boog, The Green, DJ Quik, Tribal Seeds, types of sea shells and more it is HI Roots ability to play a bill with any genre that truly sets them apart from most acts. Three friends met in 2005 in Monrovia and soon after began jamming in an abandoned house which had no electricity. Pedro, types of sea shells Johnny and KP added Gyl Bonus in 2009 who took control of the lead-guitarist role. Shortly after, True Press released their EP Sweet Reggae and it as an instant types of sea shells favorite amongst avid reggae fans. With the recent addition of Christopher Parkhurst on keys the group has a new live energy and an uplifting, catchy sound which will rock any venue. The release of their first album Anything Is Possible debuted at #3 on the iTunes reggae charts and #6 on the Billboard reggae charts. They introduced their live show in over 20 states immediately following their release which was co-produced by Lewis Richards (Sublime, The DIrty Heads), and E.N Young (Tribal Seeds). The local San Diego band, Sandollar, is so diverse that it falls in a genre of its own- beach rock. Influenced by a variety of sounds and genres, their sound features reggae types of sea shells tones, types of sea shells splashes of southern rock, and encapsulates the all-around feel of So Cal living. The band was born from daily jam sessions in a high school woodshop class and evolved in 2006 into a 5-member band that tours all over. Based outside of Charlottesville, VA, Justin Pietro a.k.a. Dub Architect has been heavily involved in the US reggae scene for the better part of the last decade. By blending traditional dubwise reggae remixing techniques with new technology and ideas of what dub can mean, Dub Architect aims to bring live dubwise reggae mixing and performance to the forefront of the emerging US scene. Dub Architect types of sea shells has worked with heavy-hitters such as 10 time Grammy nominees Third World, Easy Star All-Stars, The Green, Rebelution, and John Brown s Body, as well as lesser known but equally talented artists. His first album, Dub Volume 1 (released June 2012) is available as a free download. With over 2000 copies of the first installment downloaded, Dub Volume 2 (released October 2013) debuted to praises from publications such as ThePier.org , Reggaeville, and ReggalizeIt, amongst others.
After types of sea shells playing in numerous roots and dub outfits around the DC/MD/VA area, the multi-instrumentalist and dub producer co-founded Dub Campaign as an outlet to demonstrate live dub techniques with a full band in various lineups and arrangements incorporating advanced MIDI programming, live looping, and live dub effects. Dub Architect co-produced types of sea shells and mixed Dub Campaign s debut EP, Lion in Disguise, (released January 2013) and served as the executive producer types of sea shells for the band s B-side dub remix album Lion in Dub (released April 2013).
